Brucellosis is a highly infectious bacterial disease of cattle, sheep, goats and pigs which can infect humans. This is gotten from direct contact with animals secretion and excretions Brucellosis is spread from the vaginal discharge of an infected animal or from an aborted fetus. The organism has an affinity for the reproductive tract and abortions, retained placenta, weak calves and infertility frequently occur.

Transmission
